Thanks to recommendations from neighbors and Yelp reviews we found a great dine-in Chinese restaurant. We made a reservation for a Saturday night and the place was busy. The host was warm and friendly. We were seated right away, and they seemed to be seating people who were waiting very quickly. We got a nice booth in one of the quieter rooms. Our server greeted us immediately and gave us a minute to look over the menu. Hubby and I each ordered a cocktail and they were served quite quickly. Maybe not the best Mai tai I have ever had, but it was good and my hubby really liked his, but I don't remember what it was called. The food. We started with eggs rolls which were really good. Tender veggies on the inside and a light and crispy outside. For dinner we had chicken fried rice (tasty and large pieces of tender white meat chicken), the special kon Pao with beef, chicken and shrimp (very tasty with just a little spice over all, unless you eat the peppers like my hubby), and we got the honey walnut shrimp (shrimp was cooked perfectly, tender with just a touch of crispness, and a light sauce that gave just the right amount of sweetness. Our server, sorry I don't remember her name, was so cheerful and attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed and that the food and drinks were perfect. We are looking forward to going back!

After growing up in Little Saigon, finding the right Asian restaurant after moving to this area has been a bit of a challenge. We tried this place out with some hesitation, worried it wouldn't be authentic, but I'm glad to say we were pleasantly surprised! The decor here is really something special--fancy and upscale, definitely not like the typical Asian restaurants we frequented back in Little Saigon. It's a fresh and modern vibe that feels both comfortable and sophisticated. Our server, Billy, was a standout--super attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, especially when it came to making sure our dishes were kid-friendly with no spice. As for the food, it definitely hit the spot: Walnut Shrimp: Absolutely fantastic. The shrimp was perfectly crunchy with a flavorful coating, and it wasn't mushy like you find at some other places. Easily one of the best versions of this dish I've had. Panda Beef: This dish was a real treat. It's like orange chicken but with beef, offering that sweet and tangy flavor profile we love, but with a richer taste. It was cooked to perfection, tender with a nice crisp on the outside. Bok Choy with Mushrooms: A solid, reliable dish. The bok choy was fresh and crisp, and the mushrooms added a nice earthy flavor. It's a simple dish, but they executed it really well. Service was impressively fast, and we appreciated how accommodating they were with our kids' preferences. The Fortune Cookie Milk Tea was a unique and delightful touch--not overly sweet, but just the right amount of flavor to end the meal on a high note. Pricing is reasonable, especially given the quality and ambiance. Overall, I'd highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great Asian dining experience in the area. It's definitely a new favorite for us!

Well thank you yelpers for helping us find a great Chinese sit down and take out restaurant. Food was authentic, plentiful and reasonably priced. Three of my favorite things. Plenty I mean Plenty of seating even on their busiest day. Friendly service and decor compliments restaurant name. The icing on the cake.... white chocolate dipped fortune cookies. Nice touch.

...on the hunt for a decent Chow Mein for a few months now and I realize since I'm out of my hood, I should check out this famous spot in La Palma. Call my friend to get the exact name of the Chow Mein, but he convinces me that I should go with the "Panda Rice" The sweet gal shows me the containers for the $18 and $37 size, which she calls "regular" and "family"... (which look NOTHING like this container) I say ok to family since I opted for only one entree... OMFGGG... THIS IS LIKE A PARTY SIZE!!!! We will be eating this "Panda Rice" FOR DAYS!! ....

What a great bargain! With dining out prices being pretty high right now, Panda Inn packs a punch with its portions, pricing and flavor. I came with my family and had an early dinner but this is definitely the spot you want to go to if you're feeding a large crowd. Their edamame is what really stood out to me. It wasn't steamed but char grilled and had a great smoky flavor. We really enjoyed the chicken in garlic sauce too. I also appreciated being able to control the spice level since they don't have a separate menu for kids. So I was able to ask for no spice and my daughter ate with us. The service was also tremendous. So attentive and with a smile. the restaurant seemed fairly large. They also have a bar area. Overall, it was a good experience.
